McNulty is Old Man on Campus

Ryan McNulty’s music choice is a little out of the ordinary for a kid his age. His music is considered old to most of his generation. He has a kind of quirky style to him which incorporates his musical tastes.

In his Volkswagen Jetta, he will claim his AUX cord. Then, for someone who is unprepared, the unexpected will happen. Their ears will be filled with some interesting music.

It is usually music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. The music is usually rock but can be different sub-genres.

Some of the music is well known like John Denver or The Grateful Dead. But he will most likely play his all-time favorite, The Doors.”Jim Morrison is an interesting fellow to me,”

“Jim Morrison is an interesting fellow to me,” Ryan stated. He often talks about Jim Morrison and constantly gives weird facts about the singer.

Matt Knudsen, one of Ryan’s close friends, said, “His music is weird and he is not allowed to have AUX privileges in my car.”

Even his style is affected by his love for older music like wearing a shirt with Jim Morrison’s mug shot on it. He will also wear some colorful tie-dye Grateful Dead shirts on occasion. “I like the style,” Ryan said.

On March 20th, he is attending a Bruce Springsteen concert. Bruce Springsteen is a widely known and loved musician. Most people at this concert will be older than Ryan. Cross country and defense lacrosse Coach Lewis Scharff has confirmed he will be attending the concert. Ryan often asks him if he will drive him jokingly.

Ryan said, “I have always liked older music and it comes from my dad, Terri.” This love for older music has been with Ryan since he was young. It seems like he will carry his passion for older music to college and will be the old man on that campus as well.
