Here are a few look-a-likes spotted around Boys’ Latin this 2014-2015 school year. These look-a-likes feature BL students and faculty members alike, comparing them to celebrity actors, singers, athletes, and fictional characters.
Jack Pezzulla, a junior, looks like the friendly green fictional ogre, Shrek. When we asked Jack what he thinks of his look-a-like, he stated, “I think it is funny, but I don’t think our physique is the same, just our noses look very similar.”
Señor Robinson, beloved college advisor, looks like Harvey Dent from “Batman.” We asked Señor Robinson what he thought of his look-a-like, and he told us, “I think anyone would appreciate being compared to a Hollywood movie star. I am no exception *proceeds to laugh.* I respect that character very much in the movie as well.”
Logan King, a senior, looks like the famous actor Owen Wilson.
Matt Sacks, a senior, looks strangely similar to an Avatar. When we asked Matt what he thinks of his look-a-like, he said, “Considering that I have only seen the movie once, I think that we do resemble each other very much. The only difference is that he is blue; I mean I even have a tail and have to charge it every free period.”
Jason Chappelle, a sophomore, looks like the Somalian pirate from “Captain Phillips.”
Brendan Mullally, a junior, looks like the famous child actor Frankie Muniz.
Hayden Kovinsky, a junior, looks identical to the fictional character Frozone from “The Incredibles.”
Beloved English teacher, Mr. Dagenais, looks like Justin Timberlake from “Bad Teacher.”
Robbie Gothier, a junior, is identical to talk show host Ellen Degeneres. We approached Robbie and asked him what he thinks of his look-a-like, and he said, “I am not ashamed to look like Ellen; I take pride in the fact that I like her.”
There are a ton of Boys’ Latin students and faculty members that look like famous stars and fictional characters that can be seen on television everyday. Hopefully this article provided a good laugh.
